About Us
Invicta Foundation was created on the tennis courts of Marin County, CA, where founders Mariko Fritz-Krockow and José Hilla recognized a need to support talented, hardworking athletes who lacked the financial resources to pursue their full potential.
We believe that high-level tennis offers life-changing opportunities. Young athletes who train and compete at an advanced level develop grit, perseverance, resilience, responsibility, time management, sportsmanship, and a strong work ethic—qualities that are valuable in the workforce and society. Competitive tennis can also open doors to college scholarships, higher education pathways, and professional careers.
At Invicta Foundation, we are committed to ensuring that these opportunities are accessible to players from all backgrounds. By reducing financial barriers and expanding access to coaching, equipment, and tournament play, we strive to empower every motivated athlete to pursue their goals with confidence and support.

We are in the process of obtaining our 501(c)(3) status from the Internal Revenue Service. IRS Pub 557 indicates that the effective date of our exemption will be retroactive to our date of incorporation which is X. Donations may be tax exempt.
Our Mission
Invicta Foundation is dedicated to supporting motivated and talented tennis players in Northern California who lack access to the resources they need to succeed. Through financial grants, we help cover essential coaching, equipment, and tournament expenses. By providing this support, we strive to cultivate each athlete’s potential and empower them to pursue their goals of college and/or professional level tennis.

Supporting Athletes
Playing tennis at a high level can be incredibly expensive. Through our grants, we provide support for coaching, tournament travel, equipment, court access, and any other essential expenses that arise as a player pursues their goal of competing in college tennis and/or at the professional level.
Mentorship
Guidance Provided
We provide our grantees with guidance on training, other available grants, tournament planning, college recruiting, and other aspects of their development.
